EuropeRides turns FREE

EuropeRides continues as a free service As some of you may know I retired last year October. That is to say, I turned 65. Which for poor Dutch people like me does NOT mean I get any retirement money yet. Our fine government and bankers leeches have decided to change the rules and pay back our money only when we turn 66 or 67. Still, I stopped my Silver Cloud Publishing company, which was also the umbrella for many of my other commercial activities. And I decided to calm down, take things more relaxed. EuropeRides MotoMag goes PRO !

Since I have quite a few readers and the number is growing steadily, I decided to upgrade to PRO status. That means I have to PAY for the software now (was free until now) and it is not generating any money of course. So I’ll put a ‘donation’ button on my websites here and there. Reconstruction going on

Independence Pass, CO

Not only the Dutchy, in fact, but a whole bunch of people from the “Kachadourian Lodge” set out to visit the pass, and subsequently have lunch in Aspen on the other side! On this day, July 23rd 2016, some of us gathered to ride/drive to the mighty Independence Pass. Most of you now already know how it ended for me, so I won’t go into that. Help Italian earthquake victims

You will all have heard about the terrible earthquake in Italy, not far from our home. We ourselves were in Holland at the time, and our neighbors tell us they felt the quake and can still feel the subsequent shocks going on today, but no damage so far. That’s very different in the villages Amatrice, Accumoli and other villages in the area. Amatrice looks to be one big pile of rubble and not one house in the historic town is still inhabitable. At the time of writing there already 270 people dead, and more expected. Thousands have lost their home…
